Welcome To The
Celtic Prayer Garden

Walk through this peaceful garden, a sacred ‘thin’ place where the Celts believed that heaven and earth met.

The Celtic Prayer Garden invites you to relax your body, soul and spirit by breathing in the transformational peace of its six acres of rustling trees, its undisturbed bog-land, surrounding yourself in native Celtic flora and fauna. Explore a myriad of winding paths, spending time in the shelters dedicated to our Celtic Heritage and to a simpler era, more connected with nature.

This beautiful garden is undisturbed and offers you a peaceful break away from the frantic pace of modern life.

It invites you to stand still, listen and enjoy a moment of reverence for our past, whilst delivering a renewed respect for the unspoiled diversity of our environment in the present, all the while calming your soul and resting your mind and spirit.

Walk, reflect, sit, meditate and ponder in this sacred ‘thin place’ as did our ancestors. Your spirit will be replenished by this Celtic Prayer Garden’s peace, tranquility and serenity.

The visit to the Garden can be guided and can take between 1-1.5 hours, depending on the level of detail you wish to explore. We recommend the guide book to enhance your experience.

Visitors should be prepared for a reasonable amount of walking and have waterproof clothing in case of inclement weather. The Garden is wheel chair accessible.
