Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are back together in The Banshees of Inisherin, which is to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival this September.

On an island off the west coast of Ireland, lifelong friends Padraic and Colm are at odds when Colm decides to end their friendship.
With the support of his sister Siobhan, who along with the local policeman’s son Dominic has her own qualms within the small island community, a confused and devastated Padraic attempts to reignite their relationship.
But when Colm delivers a shocking ultimatum in order to crystallise his intention, events start to escalate to fractious heights.
Who Is Starring In The Banshees Of Inisherin?
There is a wealth of Irish talent such as Colin Farrell, who stars as Padraic, with Brendan Gleeson playing his lifelong friend Colm.
Padraic’s sister Siobhan is played by Kerry Condon, who is best known for her recent role as Molly Sullivan in Ray Donovan and Stacey Ehrmantraut in Better Call Saul.
And Barry Keoghan plays the role of Dominic, the son of the policeman of this small island community.
Who Wrote The Film?
Notable writer and director Martin McDonagh is the man behind The Banshees of Inisherin.
Along with his Oscar nominated film Three Billboards Outside Of Ebbing, Missouri, McDonagh is also known for writing and directing In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths.
Where Was The Film Shot?
The movie was shot on Inishmore and Achill Island off the West Coast of Ireland, so you can be sure there will be some stunning visuals in the movie.

The movie is set to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on September 5 2022, with a release in Irish cinemas slated for October 21, 2022.
