by Anke Morgenroth, founder of Bear Essentials, famous for its hand-crafted Irish Made Teddy Bears. The Bear Essentials Teddy Bear Gift Shop is situated beside the Silver Bear Centre and is worth a visit. It showcases the largest collection of Teddy Bears in Ireland.
The Gardens at the Silver Bear Centre are beautifully landscaped with picnic areas, greenhouses with Mediterranean fruit bushes, gazebo and decked areas. The gardens are worth a visit in their own right and are exclusively for your own use when you hire the centre. One of our gardens is equipped with a playground for children and is ideal for family meetings. Our environmentally friendly multi-fuel stove provides you with a cosy atmosphere all year round. We have a large accessible car park on site.

While surrounded by nature the Silver Bear Centre is at the same time effortlessly accessible for cross-border events. We are located within the UNESCO Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, in Ulster, just 2km outside the village of Bawnboy, Co. Cavan, 10 Minutes from County Fermanagh and 5 Minutes from County Leitrim.
